HAERE MAI HAERE MAI
Jack has an inherent love for wildlife and in turn the beautiful fragile environments that they call home.
Aspiring to work in natural history film making, 2017 saw him graduate after 2 years of study with a Marine Science Diploma where PADI Dive Master certification was achieved along with invaluable knowledge and understanding of the marine ecosystem. During these 2 years of study, Jack put the camera to work above and below the water line in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Rarotonga where incredible encounters and footage was shot of Humpback whales, killer whales, dolphins, sharks, giant sting rays and more.
Currently (2019) Jack is back in study and working towards a BSc with a major in biological sciences.
"I am fortunate enough to wake up for work every morning and head straight out into New Zealand's big blue backyard. Using my camera, it is my responsibility to communicate with the viewer and to immerse them in the incredible encounters I have with wildlife everyday. With the content I deliver to the screens of the viewer, I hope to inspire and instil into people the same love and care I have myself for these animals and the delicate environments they inhabit"
